Hulu brings the 29th Essence Festival of Culture, taking place this weekend in New Orleans, to your doorstep with headliners such as Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott and Megan Thee Stallion.
On Saturday (July 1) and Sunday (July 2), Hulu will offer live five-hour primetime shows featuring performances from the Superdome and highlights from the day’s festival events. Hulu subscribers can watch the Essence Festival at no additional cost.
As the summer progresses, Hulu, which also aired Essence on Friday night, will offer live performances from other major festivals, including Lollapalooza in August, iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, and iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina and Austin. City Limits in October.

How to stream the 2023 Essence Festival
Fans can stream the event on Hulu. The streaming service can be viewed on desktop web browsers, as well as apps on mobile and tablet devices, gaming consoles, smart TVs, and through set-top boxes and streaming sticks.
How much does Hulu cost?
After a month of free trial, the streaming platform costs $7.99 per month for content with ads and $14.99 for no ads. Bundled with Disney+, the cost is $9.99 (ads). Bundled with Disney+ and ESPN+, the cost is $12.99 (ads) or $19.99 (without ads).
