Burglar steals thousands of products from DeKalb County hemp store

A burglar broke down the front door of a DeKalb County store and stole thousands of dollars worth of hemp products.

Surveillance footage from the Georgia Hemp Company in the early morning hours of Saturday June 24 shows a man making his way into the store at Church Street and North Decatur Road.

Once inside, he headed straight for the counter, smashing a display case on the floor and grabbing the products stored there.

The store owner claims the suspect left with thousands of dollars in federally legal hemp flour.

The store shared the surveillance video with Channel 2 Action News in the hope that the public can help the police find him.

They say it hurts their customers the most by delaying product availability.

“They took something that relieves people, so I feel more for them than for us as a company,” said Katherine McLemore of Georgia Hemp Company. ” We are well. These are the people who need help. »

The store was able to replace the product and repair its door, but it wants justice for the burglar.
