Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi makes some changes after losing more weight than expected on Ozempic.
Thursday, the Sunset Shahs alum posted a lengthy Instagram video answering questions from fans about her weight loss journey since taking Ozempic, an FDA-approved prescription drug for people with type 2 diabetes.
It’s one of the brand names for semaglutide and tirzepatide – also known as Wegovy and Mounjaro – which work in the brain to impact satiety and are the latest Hollywood weight loss trend. .
“When I started semaglutide injections I was 138 pounds. Now I am about 110 pounds. As you can see I have lost a bit more weight than I expected to lose,” Gharachedaghi, 41, said in the clip. “I decided that I would only weigh myself on the days of my injections just to document it. And on April 30, I stepped on the scale and saw 111 pounds. That’s when I knew it was time to cut back. That’s when I started cutting units and backing off until finally now I’m just down maintenance.
“Am I going to get out of this? Maybe. Will I get it all back? Maybe. But for now, I’m enjoying my looks. I appreciate what he does for me,” she continued. “I encourage anyone who is struggling to lose weight and wants the ‘easy way’. Summer is coming. I’m not trying to insist that being skinny is what you should do, but the truth is, some of y’all want to do it. So I’m talking to you guys… not the fucking haters. Haters, kiss my b— ribs.

Gharachedaghi then shared that she didn’t experience any side effects from the ‘Ozempic face’ or ‘Ozempic buttocks’.
Both are characterized by the swelling or sagging of areas of the face or buttocks after taking the drugs, side effects that experts say are common with the loss of large amounts of weight.
“Whenever someone loses a lot of weight very quickly, the skin sags a bit. It’s a fact. For some people it’s worse, some people aren’t,” Gharachedaghi said of ” Ozempic face”.
“As you can see it hasn’t affected my face. Yes I’m getting fillers and Botox and all that but I haven’t received anything [recently]. So just so you can see it doesn’t sag,” she said showing her cheeks.
Gharachedaghi then joked about why the “Ozempic Butt” side effect didn’t hit her either, teasing, “I’ve never had an ass, so the fact that it still isn’t there… it cannot sag or disappear more than it already was.”

Later in the clip, Gharachedaghi had a “heart-to-heart” moment, opening up about possible peer pressure that may come from the recent Ozempic trend.
“Is losing weight and getting lean the ideal goal for everyone? Is it societal pressure, pressure from social networks? Yes, yes, yes,” she said. “I don’t want to pressure there for you to be skinny, but if you want to be, that might help.
The Bravo star, who first revealed in March that she takes the weekly injections, later apologized to those angry because she spoke publicly about the drugs.
However, she said she couldn’t lie to her fans, bragging that she “always kept it real”. Gharachedaghi added that she was just happy that she was able to help anyone who was curious.
“I feel a little better about myself now that I’ve lost all that weight,” she posted. “I’m ready to step into a MILF summer.”
