Keke Palmerthe boyfriend of, darius jacksonreturned to social media after being slammed for comments about her see-through outfit.
Jackson, 29, had quietly deactivated both his Instagram and Twitter profiles on Thursday, July 6, shortly after sparking outrage online for throwing shade at Palmer, also 29. Jackson, who has been dating Palmer since 2021, was unhappy with the revealing dress she wore to a recent Bailiff concert in Las Vegas.
“It’s the outfit even though…you’re a mom,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet on Wednesday, July 5, reposting a video of Palmer dancing at the show.
Jackson added in a second post, “We live in a generation where a family man doesn’t want the wife and mother of his kids showing butt to please others and being told how hateful he is. This is my family and my representation. I have standards and morals I believe. I close my case.
Social media users were quick to respond to the controversy, blaming Jackson for shaming Palmer’s outfit choice.
“I just want to say that I don’t know Keke Palmer’s boyfriend. I really don’t know anything about him other than current events, but let me just say I hate this man. Kimora Lee Simmonssaid her daughter Aoki in a since-deleted TikTok video on Thursday, per entertainment tonight. “I pray and plot for his downfall. I hate it. I am disgusted. I think when my friend told me that and we were just sitting… I was like ‘What?’ I would love the chance to punch this man. … I am appalled. No customer.
Palmer has yet to speak publicly about the drama. Upon Jackson’s return to Twitter and Instagram, eagle-eyed fans noticed that all previous posts featuring Palmer had apparently been deleted from his profiles. Jackson’s latest upload — shared in June — is a solo photo of him with the couple’s son, Leodis Andrellton, whom they welcomed in February.
Palmer and Jackson were first linked in the summer of 2021, nearly two years before they announced they were expecting their first baby.
“There are rumors going around people have said in my comments ‘Keke is having a baby, Keke is pregnant’ and I want to set the record straight – I am,” she joked during his saturday night live monologue in December 2022, revealing her baby bump for the first time. “I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it down, because I got a lot going on, you know? People kept coming to me [and saying,] ‘Congratulations.’ I’m like, ‘Sssh, can y’all stop, I got a booze sponsorship online. Let the check cash and then we can go to the fucking baby shower! »
She continued at the time, “But honestly it’s been the biggest blessing and I’m so excited. Guys, I’m going to be a mom! Although some people feel a little weird about me have a baby because I was a child actor, I just want to say, ‘Look, I’m 29, I’ve grown up, I’m having sex [and] I own a house. … You know, the things adults do.
Despite criticism from her boyfriend, Palmer shared more snapshots from her night out in Sin City. Several stars have since taken to the comments section of the Instagram post to praise her impressive postpartum physique.
