Eva Longoria is getting candid about her best friend Victoria Beckham.
THE Desperate Housewives star, 48, discussed her years-long friendship with the Spice Girl, 49, in a recent interview with The temperatureand said the two forged a special bond that has remained strong over the years.
“We’re peas in a pod,” Longoria said, describing their friendship at the outlet.
“I wish people knew how funny, charming and smart Victoria is,” she added. “He’s the funniest person. I think she’s introverted, but she’s outgoing with me. We are inseparable.

Longoria met the singer through her ex-husband Tony Parker, who had been friends with David Beckham. She said that after the Beckhams moved to Los Angeles, the two couples would hang out – and even noted that David “is an incredible cook”.
Longoria noted that as she got closer to Victoria, they would schedule dates in London or Paris – Longoria’s favorite city.
“We have sleepovers all the time, mostly at their farm or in London. Usually we chat all night,” she admitted.
“She’s extremely loyal,” she continued. “There’s never a time when I can’t call her, she’s not available, she doesn’t fly to see me, or I fly to see her. Or I raid in her closet. She gives me motherly advice and business advice.

Their friendship blossomed even further to the point that Victoria named Longoria godmother to her 11-year-old daughter, Harper Beckham, whom the actress described as “a sweet, beautiful and kind young woman”.
She also designed several of Longoria’s looks for her wedding to her husband José Bastón and also played a special role in helping the bride prepare for the wedding.
“She did my civilian dress, my wedding dress, and the after-party dress,” Longoria said. “She brought it all – I mean, she literally took it with her. Put it on me, buckle my shoes cause I couldn’t bend down, zip up my dress when I get drunk. She was like, ‘I know my role.’ She is that best friend.

The two close friends then wore “matching dresses” to Victoria’s son Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding to Nicola Peltz.
THE say it like a woman The actress explained how she worked with her close friend to come up with style on PEOPLE (the TV show!): “I walk into her closet normally and say, ‘I need a dress’.” She added that Victoria was “just telling me” what to wear.
“She’s like, ‘Do you like black or green?’ And I say, ‘Black.’ She says, “Great. Green.””
