May 21—The Berks County sheriff’s department is seeking the following fugitives:
Michael Sierra, 25, whose last known address was in the 800 block of Weiser Street, Reading, is wanted on strangulation and simple assault charges.
Police said that on May 10, Sierra pushed the victim to the floor and grabbed her by the throat until she could not breathe. Sierra then punched her in the face. As the victim tried to leave Sierra threw her back to the ground and threatened to kill her and her son. The victim finally was able to call police, and Sierra fled the scene.
He is described as 5 feet 7 inches and 160 pounds.
Miguel Gonzalez-Cruz, 44, whose last known address was in the 1300 block of North Sixth Street, Reading, is wanted on simple assault charges.
Police said that on April 13, Gonzalez-Cruz got into an argument with the victim and punched and shoved her to the ground. The victim tried to escape, but the defendant dragged her back. The defendant then sat on top of her, pulled her hair and bit her on the head. Police were called shortly after.
He is described as 5 feet 6 inches and 130 pounds.
