Victim injured in home invasion in Fresno, California

One person was hurt in a home invasion robbery Sunday in southeast Fresno.

Fresno police Lt. Henry Garcia said the crime happened just before 6 p.m. on the 1900 block of South Orange Avenue when three suspects arrived and went inside the victim’s home.

The three suspects entered the home — one armed with a gun — when one pistol-whipped a victim.

Garcia said a shot was fired inside the home before taking one of the victim’s vehicles. Three victim’s were inside the home at the time of the home invasion.

Nobody was struck by gunfire, Garcia said.

The victim injured wasn’t taken to the hospital, but had minor injuries, Garcia said.
