It’s time to snuff some torches: Survivor 45 is heading back to Fiji and we’ve got your very first look at the new castaways.

When the new season begins (Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8/7c on CBS) 17 new players will be clawing for that $1 million prize, along with one returnee from Season 44. Bruce Perreault, who was medically evacuated just minutes into the Season 44 premiere, stands as the only player back for a second shot. The other participants include a heap of lawyers, an investment analyst, a veteran-turned-truck driver, a therapist, a singer and more.
As previously reported, every single episode of Survivor (and The Amazing Race) this season has been expanded to 90-minutes (meaning there will be no third hour-long series airing Wednesdays on the Eye). That’s 30 more juicy minutes of backstabbing, blindsiding and manipulation on the beautiful beaches of Fiji — a win-win for viewers everywhere!
