Shooting in South Dallas-Fair Park area kills 1, police say

A 31-year old man was fatally shot Friday afternoon in Dallas, police say. The suspect is still at large.

Dallas police are investigating a shooting that killed a 31-year-old man in the South Dallas-Fair Park area Friday afternoon, officials said.

Officers responded to the 2900 block of Lagow Street shortly after 3:30 p.m. regarding a shooting call, police said. They found one victim, Stanley Dunbar, at the scene. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Dunbar to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

There is no suspect in custody. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Detective Andrea Isom at 214-671-3701, or andrea.isom@dallaspolice.gov.
