Ron Perlman Slams Studio Executives In NSFW Twitter Rant

Newly striking mmembers of SAG-AFTRA, the Hollywood Actors Union, joined picket lines this week with the already striking Writers Guild of America, while some, like actor Ron Perlman, protested on Twitter.

The ‘Sons of Anarchy’ actor didn’t mince words about how he felt about studio executives in the swear-filled 55-second video he posted on Friday.

He was particularly angry at an unnamed executive quoted in a recent Deadline article who spoke about the WGA’s week-long strike and said the studios’ endgame “is to let things drag on until this union members begin to lose their apartments and homes”.

Perlman addressed the unidentified executive in his Twitter rant and pointed out that there are many ways someone could lose their home besides a foreclosure caused by a long strike.

“Listen to me, motherfucker, there are a lot of ways to lose your home,” he said. “Part of it is financial, part of it is karma, and part of it is just figuring out who said that – and we know who said that – and where the fuck they live.

Perlman also cautioned against wishing “that families are starving, while you make 27 fucking million dollars a year for creating nothing.

“Be careful, asshole. Be really careful, because that’s the kind of shit that stirs shit,” he added.

He then concluded his message with two words: “Peace out”.

Perlman speaks in the video below:

The actor has struck a deal with his co-workers, many of whom have warned fellow Twitter users that bumping into the “Hellboy” actor is probably not a good idea.

TV and film screenwriters and actors are on strike for fair wages and working conditions in the age of streaming.
