Man shot dead with arrow in California-Kirkbride

A man was taken to hospital after being hit by an arrow in the California-Kirkbride neighborhood of Pittsburgh late Friday night.

According to Pittsburgh police, emergency crews were called to the 800 block of Brightridge Street at 11:45 p.m.

Once there, first responders found a man behind a private fence with an arrow in the right side.

The man lost consciousness. He was taken to hospital and is in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
