Police are investigating a suspicious death after a man was found shot in the street early Sunday in Kansas City, Kansas.

Officers responded at 12:30 a.m. to the 2600 block of North 47th Terrace, where they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound in the street next to a vehicle, according to T.J. Tomasic, a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators ask anyone with information to call the anonymous TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
