Man fatally shot in the chest, groin after leaving Brooklyn house party: NYPD

A 37-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest and groin as he left a Brooklyn house party early Saturday, police said.

The victim was leaving the celebration on Louisiana Ave. near Linden Blvd. in East New York about 5:20 a.m. when he was shot, witnesses told police.

The gunman left the party after the victim and was walking behind him when they got into an argument, cops were told.

As the argument heated up, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim twice in the chest and once in the groin, cops said.

EMS rushed the victim to Brookdale University Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved. His name was not immediately disclosed.

The gunman ran off on foot. No arrests have been made.
