The former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star said of her turbulent final season on Bravo: ‘I didn’t want to live like this – I don’t think it’s healthy’

Almost five months after announcing his departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna has claimed her world has become too “volatile” for her to enjoy the series.
“I didn’t want to live like this – I don’t think it’s healthy,” said the days of our lives alum said in an interview with The Evening Standard’s ES magazine. “The way the fan base reacts to the show is not the same as when I started.”
Rinna, 59, said the ways of being on the reality show for eight seasons impacted her family and also played a part in her decision to leave.
“I mean, we were getting death threats,” she said. “Some of the most horrible things I’ve ever seen in print in my life, and it’s a reality show! It’s a stupid show!
She added: “I don’t know how long this can exist in the air, to be honest with you.”

the old Dancing with the stars The contestant also shared that she had a vision of her late mother Lois – who died in 2021 aged 93 – which prompted her to make the difficult decision to end her time on RHOBH.
“It’s so crazy because half the world will believe it, half the world will say, ‘That’s so weird,'” she admitted. “I was sleeping and I heard her say to me, ‘It’s time for you to leave.'”
Before making her exit official, Rinna said she went to see a psychic, who confirmed Lois’ message.
“I spoke to a psychic about it and she was like, ‘Oh yeah, she came to me and said that. She wants you to be happy and follow your dream, but she says that it’s time for you to go,” Rinna recalled. “I never said that to anyone except the psychic. I’m guided by my mother, of course.

When Rinna announced she was leaving the show, she shared a bittersweet message about leaving “the longest job I’ve had in my 35-year career.”
Congratulations to the executive and Watch what’s happening live host Andy Cohen then opened up about Rinna’s absence, saying he hoped it would be a temporary “break” and that “she would come back” eventually.
He also called his extended run on RHOBH “a testament to how compelling Lisa Rinna is to watch on TV that she’s been around for eight years.”
Cohen, 54, continued: “Think of all the memes Lisa Rinna generated. Think of all the gifs she generated. I remember when [Diane Von Furstenberg] came out with a book, and I think she called it Possess. And…I was like saying to DVF, I was like, ‘That’s the Lisa Rinna thing.’ “
