SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley reported that Brooklyn spoke to several teams about potential trades involving Joe Harris.

The talented three-point shooter and solid defender is under contract for $19.9 million in 2023-24, but it looks like the Nets may be trying to move on from Harris in hopes of retaining a restricted free agent. Cam Johnson, who thinks of signing an important agreement this offseason.

If Brooklyn signs Johnson, the team could face costly tax penalties if it doesn’t pay wages elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Begley reports that there is support within the networks to extend Spencer Dinwiddiethe contract. Dinwiddie will become eligible for an extension later this offseason.
