Goldman Exec Stephanie Cohen goes on leave

A Goldman executive who runs much of his consumer business is going on furlough.

Stephanie Cohen, who oversees Goldman’s credit card partnerships with Apple and General Motors and consumer lender GreenSky, told employees Friday morning that she was taking time off work to focus on her family.

“This is not an easy decision for me,” she wrote in a memo to employees. “This break will allow me to be the best I can be for Goldman Sachs when I return, which I have been proud of throughout my career.”
