An 18-year-old man from Sacramento was shot in a drive-by shooting Saturday night in Galt, police said.

The victim, whose name was not released, was found around 7 p.m. with non-life threatening injuries in an alley near E Street between Second and Third streets, the police department wrote in a social media post.

“Although this incident is in its early stages of the investigation, it appears this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public,” the department wrote.

The Galt Police Department asked that anyone with information on the shooting call the department’s non- emergency line at (209) 366-7000, option 1.
