Last season gave fantasy football managers something they’ve been waiting for: an almost complete and healthy season of George Kittle. And the San Francisco 49ers star tight end did not disappoint, finishing the year as the second most successful fantasy tight end, behind only the other world. Travis Kelce.

Kittle started things off slowly after missing the first two games of the year, raising fears of another slack season. Fortunately, his production grew exponentially for the remainder of 2022, and he ended up scoring the most touchdowns (11) of his career.
That seems a little crazy, considering Kittle has been one of the faces of the tight end position for many years now. Here’s hoping Kyle Shanahan doesn’t try anything too funky with Kittle in 2023; we want more touchdowns!

We also want more stability of the position. So not only are we hoping for more touchdowns, production and health from Kittle, but we’re hoping new names emerge to help create depth and consistency at the fantastic tight end.
