Ortiz and Edelman recount epic Celtics Game 7 hype video originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston
David Ortiz and Julian Edelman know a lot about historical comebacks. So ahead of Game 7 of the 2023 NBA Eastern Conference Finals, they’ve got the Boston Celtics fired up as they look to finish one of their own.
The New England legends have joined forces to narrate the Celtics’ official video for Monday’s Game 7 against the Miami Heat.

“The comeback. It’s a sporting story as old as time,” Ortiz and Edelman said between highlights of the 2004 Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots-Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl and 2022-23 Celtics. “In this city, we’ve been here before. Back against the wall. Take one game at a time. Take one game at a time.
“But this time, don’t call it a comeback. Call it unfinished business.”

The C’s goal is to become the first team in their sport to go 0-3 in a playoff series, much like the Ortiz Red Sox did against the New York Yankees in the Championship Series. the 2004 American League.
Game 7 coverage begins on NBC Sports Boston at 7 p.m. ET. Tipping is due at 8:30 p.m. ET at TD Garden.
