Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard of Summer House Have Broken Up, and It Seems Like It’s Gonna Get Messy

Summer House fans, gird your loins. Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard, the duo formerly known as RadHouse, are apparently no more—and it all went down on camera.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Radke and Hubbard, who have costarred on the Bravo reality series for seven seasons, have ended their engagement just a few months before they were to wed.

“The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding,” the outlet reported, citing multiple sources. “The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House.” (Bravo didn’t immediately return a request for comment from Glamour.)

As fans of the show are well aware, Hubbard and Radke had a whirlwind, and sometimes rocky, romance. Initially, the couple were just close friends, but after a few seasons of both striking out in love, they decided to date in season four. It…didn’t go so well. However, they remained friends.

Given their complicated history, many fans were surprised when the couple announced they were dating again in early 2022. Summer House chronicled what happened next: The couple fell in love and got engaged in August 2022 but faced opposition from many of their close friends, including costars Danielle Olivera and Kyle Cooke. Olivera’s concern over the relationship’s fast pace led to a feud between the former besties that seemingly has yet to be fully resolved.

Still, Hubbard and Radke seemed happy. Just a few weeks ago, Hubbard attended a lavish bridal shower in her honor held at the Cathédrale Restaurant at the Moxy Hotel in Manhattan.

Radke even showed up to the event, flowers in hand, looking every bit the happy groom-to-be.

Needless to say, fans have questions and are dying for the tea. Like, what made Radke change his mind? Did he really have to do it on camera? Is this the Scandoval effect, that people are just airing their messiest moments for drama and ratings? And what will the rest of the Summer House cast, many of whom were against the relationship from the beginning, have to say?

Now, we all know nothing can truly top the insanity of Scandoval, but for those missing the drama, it seems the next season of Summer House may be able to fill the hole in your heart.

Send Andy and a camera to the Hamptons, stat!
