Ariel Winter Thinks Stars on Mars Contestant Lance Armstrong Is Late Astronaut Neil Armstrong: “Google Him!”

Maybe she can blame the altitude?

modern family Star Ariel Winter is a bit confused about one of her fellow celebs embarking on a (pretend) trip to space in a new reality competition Stars on Mars.

“Lance Armstrong is a real freaking astronaut. He’s a real astronaut,” she says in a confessional, confusing former professional cyclist and first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, who died in 2012. “It’s Lance Armstrong. You have to google him. You have to know everything about him because he’s so cool,” she marvels in an exclusive clip from the premiere, which airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.

‘The fact that we have an astronaut is so crazy,’ Winter tells compatriot Porsha Williams.

“What you said?” THE Real Housewives of Atlanta star responds hilariously.

“I’m so confused,” Winter says. “Is he going to end up being our judge?”

In his own confessional, Armstrong, the fake astronaut, takes on being confused with the late, real astronaut. “There are probably 20-year-olds who confuse me with Neil Armstrong,” he says. “If I was Neil Armstrong, I would be dead. I’d rather be Lance Armstrong at this point.”

The new reality TV show, hosted by star trek legend William Shatner, sends 12 celebrities to base camp on an imaginary version of the Red Planet to complete grueling challenges to determine “the brightest star in the galaxy”. Other participants include: comedian Natasha Leggero, Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch, super bad star Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, wrestler and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz, footballer Richard Sherman, singer-songwriter Tinashe and actress Tallulah Willis.
