Son Luai – an Arabic name meaning “shield or protector” – was born in Dubai, although his exact date of birth has not been shared at this time.
“Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, had a healthy, beautiful son named Luai. The family is smitten in love,” the rep told PEOPLE.

During his June meeting with SeduceTHE mean girls the actress opened up about her upcoming new chapter, where she will balance her career and her life as a mother.
“I can’t wait to see how I feel and what it’s like to just be a mom,” Lohan told the outlet. “Happy tears. It’s just who I am. Although now it’s probably a baby emotion. It’s overwhelming in a good way.

PEOPLE recently caught up with the actress’ mother, Dina Lohan, about the exciting news, saying her daughter has long wanted to be a mom.
“Lindsay has always loved kids because I love kids and my mom loves kids; I’m one of four,” Dina said. “We have a big family, so she always wanted kids. And she’s so motherly. Isabelle, her niece, runs to her when she sees her.”
The timing, Dina added, is “perfect” for Lohan and her husband. “She tried and then it happened, this little stick came out positive,” she explained. “It’s the right time for her and Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they’re so happy. They’re really happy and ready.”
