Welcome to the 2023 Indianapolis 500! The fastest 33-car field in racing history is set to take on the 2 1/2-mile oval at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in front of a crowd likely to exceed 300,000.

Alex Palou is the fastest pole qualifier in the race’s history at 234.217mph, and Helio Castroneves, aiming for a record fifth victory, starts from row seven. Defending champion Marcus Ericsson starts from the fourth row.
