New video shows officers approach four suspects after a break-in at Boston watch boutique

Three out of four people arrested in a bold smash-and-grab of a high-end watch store on Boylston Street are facing charges after appearing in court Monday afternoon.

21-year-old Jaydrian Diaz, 20-year-old Akari Cummings, and 21-year-old Isaiah McPherson are accused of having a loaded gun, wearing masks, and using hammers to smash their way into the Audemars Piguet luxury watch store on Friday night.

Prosecutors say they had $200,000 worth of stolen watches in their car.

Boston 25 obtained a new cell phone video that shows the moments Boston Police officers approached the vehicle with the four suspects inside following their break-in of the watch boutique.

The video shows three of the robbery suspects escaping from police and taking officers on a chase around busy Boylston Street.

Prosecutors say the fourth suspect who was driving the red Toyota Corolla remains at large.

All three suspects who appeared in court pleaded not guilty to the charges and are being held without bail pending another hearing later this week.

No one was injured during the armed robbery, police say.

The Swiss watch company has locations across North America, Europe, Asia, and South America, according to Audemars Piguet’s website. Watches on the site retail for tens of thousands of dollars.
