Five crazy stats from the Giants’ 15-0 history against the Dodgers

The Giants are on the rise.

They’ve won 21 of their last 30 and eight in a row on the road, but one of the most satisfying wins of that streak was certainly their 15-0 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night at Dodger Stadium.

Nothing tastes tastier than absolutely destroying a rival in their own home, and the Giants made history in more ways than one by doing so:

After their victory on Saturday, the Giants are half a game behind the Dodgers in the NL West and 4 1/2 games behind the first-place Arizona Diamondbacks. They’ll look to cap off a perfect road trip on Sunday at Dodger Stadium, then continue their NL West gauntlet by hosting the San Diego Padres and then the Diamondbacks at Oracle Park this week.

Hopefully after Saturday’s win, their sticks have a few more hits as they look to make moves within the division.
