Oct. 24—WILKES-BARRE — A woman from Butler Township admitted in Luzerne County Court she sent nude pictures of herself to a 16-year-old boy she supervised at a restaurant.
Julia Bliss Kobilis, 30, of East County Road, Drums, pled guilty to dissemination of explicit sexual materials to a minor and corruption of minors before President Judge Michael T. Vough.
State police at Hazleton in August and September 2022, investigated a complaint from the teen boy who claimed Kobilis, a shift manager at MacDonald’s on Susquehanna Boulevard, Hazle Township, sent nude pictures of herself to him on a social media app, according to court records.
The boy was employed at the restaurant.
During an interview with state police, Kobilis admitted she send nude pictures of herself to the boy, court records say.
Kobilis is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 30.
