A man was shot multiple times Sunday in the 1400 block of Santa Fe Ave. at Brookhaven Plaza Apartments and died from his injuries, the Bartlesville Police Department announced.
Police responded to a call at 1:33 p.m. The victim, who remains unnamed, was transported to the Ascension Jane Phillips Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Officers also received information from several witnesses of a possible suspect. Officers located a suspect matching the same description that eyewitnesses gave. The suspect had a firearm on his person, police said.
No arrests have been made at this time. The BPD is actively investigating this incident. More information will be released as it becomes available.
