“Do you think” Biden won?

Chris Wallace pushed Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel to respond to whether President Joe Biden had won the election after saying it was “very real” to claim there were problems in 2020.

The Trump-backed RNC chairman, who has denounced ‘irregularities’ and made unproven voter fraud allegations following the 2020 election, acknowledged that Biden is the president but declined to say whether Biden’s victory was legit in the past.

“I think to say there were problems with 2020 is very real. I don’t think that’s election denial,” McDaniel told the CNN host, who asked when she stopped “d ‘to be an election denier’.

Wallace, in a preview of the interview shared on “CNN Primetime,” cut short McDaniel’s response while pressing her on the subject.

“Wait a minute. Are you saying, as president of the Republican Party, that you still have questions about whether or not Joe Biden was the duly elected president in 2020?” Wallace asked.

“Joe Biden is the president. The process..” McDaniel replied.

“No. I didn’t ask you if he was the president,” the host said.

“No I don’t think so, I think there were a lot of issues,” the RNC chairman said.

McDaniel, who won his fourth two-year term as RNC president in January, finally acknowledged that Biden had “finally” won the election before doubling down on his claim that there were problems with the voting process.

“But I don’t think he just won. I don’t, I’m not going to say that,” she said.

“You’re saying you’re not sure, as chairman of the Republican Party, that he was the legitimately elected president?” Wallace asked.

“I say there were a lot of problems with the 2020 election and we need to address that going forward,” she replied.
