Aaron Rodgers didn’t have his best season last year, but Watson is going from an inner-circle Hall of Famer to a QB with a career start. According Mr. Reception Perception, Watson benefited from Rodgers’ improvisation and ability to extend plays. Meanwhile, love has would have favored Romeo Doubs the whole offseason – as he did last summer. Packers added rookie WR Jayden Roseau in Round 2, and the QB change poses a real question of target preference versus 2022 (as well as effectiveness).

Watson scored nine touchdowns in limited playing time as a rookie and ranks in the top 10 fantasy WRs in his scoring range, but his downside is also bigger than the rest in Round 4 or 5, where the rankings by consensus of experts place it. Some don’t agreebut I’m on Watson’s ADP this year.
Nico Collins has a sleeper call in 2023
collins had quietly intriguing underlying statistics last season, and Houston has 350+ targets released with brandin cooks gone (his replacement is a 31-year-old man Robert Woods who just finished outside the top 75 WR in yards per course). Collins could break out in Year 3 while featured in the Julio Jones role in a Kyle Shanahan offense, but he won’t be in until Round 12 or later in the Fantasy Drafts.

Finally, as someone who watches too much television, I surprisingly did not watch “ounces“until recently. It’s a strong contender for the all-time top 10, but I’m admittedly a sucker for the genre.
