Charter Stock Drops After CFO’s Subscriber Warning

Shares of Charter Communications dropped after the company’s CFO said its internet subscribers could decline in the current quarter.

The stock was recently down about 9%. The warning also weighed on shares of Comcast, Altice, Liberty and Cable One. Charter’s shares were the worst performers on the S&P 500.

Jessica Fischer, speaking at the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference, said that November was slow for new internet customer sign-ups.
