Trump and his aides did not react to the cease and desist letter.
In the complaint to Trump’s lawyers, Lowell said Trump’s rhetoric has provoked violence in the past, including the insurgency and attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Hunter Biden’s lawyer also cited the attack on Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and the recent arrest of a gunman near former President Barack Obama’s home.
