“Stranger Things” goes up that hill, returning to Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights.
Fans have been hoping for another haunted house themed after the hit Netflix show after the popular “Stranger Things” houses from HHN 2018 and 2019.
This year’s home will take guests on “the mind-bending twists and supernatural terror of Season 4,” Universal announced Thursday.
“From the earliest shots of ‘Stranger Things’ 4 Episode One, we knew it was meant to be a Halloween Horror Nights experience,” John Murdy, executive producer of HHN at Universal Studios Hollywood, said in a statement.

What is the decor of the “Stranger Things” house?
“This year’s petrifying haunted house will once again transport guests to Hawkins, Indiana, where they will meet new supernatural villain Vecna, who is determined to erase the unstable barrier between the eerie Upside Down and the real world in an attempt to reign supreme,” according to Universal. “Guests will find themselves on the front lines of Vecna’s deadly attacks on the citizens of Hawkins while journeying through iconic stages including the famed Hawkins Lab, the enigmatic Creel House, and Vecna’s spooky lair.”
Which ‘Stranger Things’ characters will be featured?
The house will feature familiar characters like Eleven, Max, and Eddie as well as “otherworldly creatures like demobats and even Vecna himself,” according to Universal.
Where will the “Stranger Things” house be?
The house will be part of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort.
What other haunted houses will there be at Halloween Horror Nights?
So far, Universal has only revealed two other house themes: “The Last of Us” and “Chucky.”
What are the dates for HHN 2023?
Halloween Horror Nights will be held for a record 48 nights this year at Universal Orlando Resort. Four new dates were announced on Thursday, extending the event through November.
