1 dead and at least 3 injured in Pennsylvania bar shooting

One person was killed and three others injured in a shooting early Saturday morning at a neighborhood bar in Pennsylvania, police said.

The gunshots broke out shortly after 2am at J’s Juke Joint in Munhall, WTAE reported. A sign outside the building reads Public House 40.4, which police say is the former name of the local watering hole.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they found several shell casings and evidence of a shooting. It appeared that at least 13 shots hit the front exterior wall of the bar. What exactly happened in the moments leading up to the gunshots is unclear.

A man was fatally shot in the shooting while three other people, two men and a woman, were injured. Police said one of the men was in critical condition while the other two were in stable condition.

None of the victims of the shooting have been identified.

Residents living near J’s Juke Joint have previously complained about the bar, describing it as a general nuisance where fights, arguments with neighbors and even gunfire have occurred.

By late Saturday morning, no suspects had been arrested. County police are asking anyone with information to call 1-833-255-8477 (ALL-TIPS).
